JOB OVERVIEW:

  • Responsible for all development activities for ORMB; including but not limited to the development solution, customer interaction, work on project using Agile, project documentation, Client demo, UAT participation, bug fixing, contribution in Hypercare support and QA
  • Ideal Candidate should have a good understanding of installing and configuring Oracle RMB framework.
  • Technically adept and confident software programmer with exceptional skills in coding and documentation.
  • Vast experience in Billing in Banking and Utilities domain in various modules that includes Account, Person, Rates / Pricing, Billing and Payments.
  • Provide technical and functional support for BI Publisher reports, stored procedures, and Oracle DB objects within the ORMB application.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design processes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Execute production jobs, manage interfaces and reports, perform system maintenance, and contribute to system upgrades and modifications.
  • Develop report enhancements and fixes based on gathered requirements.
  • Anticipate future requirements, trends, and changes to ensure customer service satisfaction within budget constraints.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for doing hands on technical development of ORMB solutions, functionality, and features.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Technical skills required include working in a J2EE environment, Oracle, UNIX, SQL
  • Expertise in the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing version 2.4/CC&B
  • Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Oracle SQL, Pl/SQL, JavaScript, HTML
  • Expertise On 4Gl, Groovy, Java, Micro Services, Oracle
  • Hands on experience in development of OUAF 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Oracle BI Publisher.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Oracle DB development.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Java development (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems.
  • Strong drive to contribute to ongoing report development, teamwork, and thrive in a high-profile environment.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and varying levels of detail.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Other Desired Skills:

  • Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Financial industry experience with Finance and/or accounting knowledge is beneficial.
  • Build effective relationships with the global team.

Schedule: Work-from-home flexibility up to 2 days per week.

EDUCATION      

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Oracle Certification

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • 4+ years of experience as ORMB Developer
  • Strong experience in Development of Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) with at least one full successful life cycle implementation.
  • Experience in system integration, fit-gap analysis, conversion from legacy systems, exposure to billing, accounting etc. is highly recommended
  • Proven experience in system design, development and configurations across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop solutions working with various technology partners to ensure success of the project.
  • Experience in data analysis, gap analysis using various software/tools like SQL, Toad etc.
